Auto Trader Terms of Use

Complete terms, conditions, and fee disclosure for using Polyblock's Auto Trader automated trading feature. You must read and accept these terms before enabling Auto Trader.

IMPORTANT: By enabling Auto Trader, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this document. This is a binding agreement.

Agreement to Terms

These Auto Trader Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the automated trading feature ("Auto Trader") provided by Polyblock. By enabling Auto Trader, you enter into a binding agreement with Polyblock and acknowledge that:

  • You are at least 18 years old — or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • You are not in a restricted jurisdiction — You are not located in or trading from any jurisdiction where prediction market trading is prohibited
  • You have read the full terms — You have read and understood all sections of this document
  • You accept all risks — You understand and accept all risks associated with automated trading
  • You trade with funds you can afford to lose — You will only use discretionary funds that you can afford to lose entirely

Access Requirements

Auto Trader is a premium feature that may require additional eligibility verification. Polyblock reserves the right to implement access controls to ensure the quality and sustainability of the service.

Eligibility Criteria

To access Auto Trader, you may be required to satisfy one or more of the following criteria:

  • Active Subscription — Maintain an active Polyblock Pro or equivalent subscription plan that includes Auto Trader access
  • Token Holdings Verification — Hold and verify a minimum balance of $POLYBLOCK tokens in a connected Solana wallet
  • Platform Approval — Receive explicit approval from Polyblock administrators for access to automated trading features for promotional purposes

Verification Process

If token holdings verification is required, you will need to connect a Solana wallet containing the minimum required $POLYBLOCK token balance. This verification may be performed periodically to ensure continued eligibility.

Access requirements are subject to change. Polyblock may introduce, modify, or remove eligibility criteria at its discretion. Users will be notified of any changes that affect their current access status.

Access Revocation

Your access to Auto Trader may be suspended or revoked if you no longer meet the applicable eligibility criteria, including but not limited to: subscription expiration, insufficient token holdings, or violation of these terms. Upon access revocation, any active automated trading will be disabled, though existing open positions will remain until manually closed or resolved.

Fee Structure

Polyblock charges fees for the Auto Trader service. By using Auto Trader, you agree to pay the following fees:

Platform Fee

  • 1% per order placed — A 1% fee is charged on every limit order placed by Auto Trader
  • Charged regardless of fill status — The fee is charged whether the order is filled, partially filled, or unfilled
  • Deducted from your USDC.e balance — Fees are automatically deducted from your custodial wallet balance
Example: If Auto Trader places a $50 limit order, a $0.50 fee (1%) is charged. If the order is cancelled or expires unfilled, the $0.50 fee is still charged.

Why Fees Are Charged Per Order

The 1% fee covers the infrastructure, AI analysis, and operational costs of running automated trading 24/7. Charging per order (rather than per filled trade) ensures sustainable operation of the service regardless of market conditions or fill rates.

No Hidden Fees

There are no withdrawal fees, deposit fees, or monthly subscription fees for Auto Trader. The 1% per-order fee is the only charge for this feature. For fees on Terminal trading, Playground, or claiming winning positions, see our Fees page.

How Auto Trader Works

Understanding how Auto Trader operates is essential before enabling the feature:

  • AI-Powered Analysis — Auto Trader uses artificial intelligence to analyze market conditions, technical indicators, and price patterns
  • Limit Orders Only — All trades are executed as limit orders for better price control - no market orders
  • Uses USDC.e Balance — Auto Trader trades using your USDC.e balance in your Polyblock custodial wallet
  • 24/7 Operation — When enabled, Auto Trader operates continuously, analyzing markets and placing trades
  • Configurable Settings — You control trade sizes and maximum trades per day
  • Automatic Take-Profit — Positions include automatic take-profit orders at 99¢ when markets resolve favorably, or close after market close
Auto Trader will use your entire USDC.e balance as available trading capital. To protect funds from being traded, swap USDC.e to POL before enabling Auto Trader.

Risk Disclosure

Automated trading carries significant risks. By enabling Auto Trader, you acknowledge:

  • Loss of Capital — You may lose some or all of the funds used for automated trading
  • No Guaranteed Returns — Past performance does not guarantee future results. Historical win rates may not continue
  • Market Volatility — Cryptocurrency prediction markets are highly volatile and unpredictable
  • Technical Failures — Software bugs, network issues, or system failures may affect trading. Polyblock will not be held responsible for any losses or damages resulting from technical failures
  • AI Limitations — AI analysis can be wrong. The system does not have perfect market prediction abilities
  • Beta Software — Auto Trader is BETA software and may contain bugs or behave unexpectedly
ONLY USE FUNDS YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. Do not use funds needed for rent, bills, debt payments, or emergencies. Treat all trading capital as potentially lost.

Protecting Your Funds

You are responsible for protecting funds you do not wish to trade. We provide the following guidance:

De-Risking Strategy

  • Swap USDC.e to POL — Auto Trader only uses USDC.e. Convert to POL to protect funds from being traded
  • Withdraw to External Wallet — For maximum security, withdraw funds to your personal wallet
  • Set Conservative Trade Sizes — Use smaller trade sizes to limit exposure per trade
  • Monitor Regularly — Check your positions and P&L regularly, especially during volatile periods

Taking Profits

We recommend withdrawing or converting profits regularly. Realized profits are the only guaranteed profits. Do not allow winning positions to become losing ones.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polyblock shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Auto Trader, including but not limited to:

  • Trading Losses — Any and all losses from automated trades, regardless of cause
  • Missed Opportunities — Trades not executed due to system limitations or market conditions
  • Technical Issues — System downtime, bugs, errors, or failures affecting trade execution
  • Third-Party Services — Issues with Polymarket, blockchain networks, or payment processors
  • Market Events — Black swan events, flash crashes, or extreme market conditions

You agree to indemnify and hold Polyblock harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Auto Trader.

Service Modifications

Polyblock reserves the right to:

  • Modify Features — Change, update, or remove Auto Trader features at any time
  • Adjust Fees — Change the fee structure with reasonable notice to users
  • Suspend Service — Temporarily or permanently suspend Auto Trader for maintenance or other reasons
  • Revoke Access — Revoke individual user access for any reason, including suspected abuse
  • Update Terms — Modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance
We will notify users of significant changes to these terms via email or platform notification. It is your responsibility to review terms periodically.
