Strategy Marketplace

Share your strategies with the community and earn rewards when others subscribe. Learn how to publish strategies, attract subscribers, and build a reputation as a strategy creator.

Overview

The Playground Marketplace is where strategy creators share their automated trading strategies with the community. As a creator, you can publish your strategies publicly and earn rewards when other users subscribe and trade with them. As a subscriber, you can discover proven strategies and trade alongside successful creators.

Win-Win Model: Creators earn rewards for sharing successful strategies. Subscribers get access to proven strategies without building from scratch. Everyone benefits when strategies perform well.

Publishing Strategies

Publishing your strategy makes it visible in the Marketplace for others to discover and subscribe to.

How to Publish

When creating or editing a strategy, you can choose to make it public:

  • During Creation — The AI asks: "Would you like to make this strategy public on the Marketplace?" Answer "yes" to publish.
  • After Creation — Edit your strategy and tell the AI: "Make this strategy public" or "Publish to Marketplace"
  • Instant Visibility — Once published, your strategy appears in the Marketplace immediately
  • Can Unpublish — You can make your strategy private again at any time by editing it

What Gets Displayed

When you publish a strategy, the following information is visible to potential subscribers:

  • Strategy Name & Description — Your strategy's name and description help users understand what it does
  • Performance Metrics — Win rate, total trades, total P&L, average profit per trade
  • Configuration Details — Assets traded, timeframe, direction, indicators used (without exact parameters)
  • Entry/Exit Prices — Entry and exit price ranges (helps users understand risk/reward)
  • Subscriber Count — Number of active subscribers (social proof)
  • Creator Information — Your username/wallet address (truncated for privacy)
  • Recent Activity — Last trade date, recent win rate trend
Good Descriptions Matter: Write clear, compelling descriptions that explain your strategy\'s approach and ideal market conditions. Good descriptions attract more subscribers.

Earning Rewards

Strategy creators earn rewards when subscribers use their strategies. The reward system is designed to incentivize creating high-quality, profitable strategies.

How Rewards Work

Creators earn rewards based on their subscribers' trading activity:

  • Reward Rate — Creators earn 0.25% of each subscriber trade (calculated on the trade cost, not profit)
  • Example Calculation — Subscriber places $100 trade → Creator earns $0.25 reward
  • All Trades Count — Rewards are earned on all subscriber trades, whether profitable or not
  • Automatic Distribution — Rewards are calculated and distributed automatically after each trade is placed
  • Transparent Tracking — View all rewards in real-time through your Creator Dashboard

Reward Potential

Your earning potential depends on subscriber count and their trading volume:

  • Example: 10 Subscribers — Each trades $20/trade, 5 trades/day → 0.25% × $20 × 5 × 10 = $2.50/day creator reward
  • Example: 50 Subscribers — Same parameters as above → $12.50/day creator reward
  • Example: 100 Subscribers — Same parameters as above → $25/day creator reward
  • Scaling Factor — More subscribers = more rewards. Better performance = more subscribers stay active.

Reward Dashboard

Track your earnings in the Creator Dashboard:

  • Total Rewards Earned — Lifetime rewards from all your published strategies
  • Rewards by Strategy — See which strategies generate the most rewards
  • Rewards by Subscriber — See which subscribers contribute the most (anonymous)
  • Reward History — Detailed log of all reward distributions
  • Pending Rewards — Rewards from unsettled trades (will be distributed after settlement)
Passive Income Potential: Once you publish a successful strategy, you can earn passive rewards as long as subscribers continue trading with it. The best strategies can generate consistent income for months or years.

Subscriber Management

Monitor and manage your subscribers to understand how your strategy is being used.

Subscriber Analytics

View detailed analytics about your subscribers:

  • Active Subscribers — Number of users currently trading with your strategy
  • Total Subscribers — All-time subscriber count (including inactive)
  • Subscriber Performance — Aggregate P&L, win rate, and trade count across all subscribers
  • Top Subscribers — Highest-performing subscribers (anonymous, by P&L)
  • Churn Rate — Percentage of subscribers who deactivate the strategy
  • Average Subscription Duration — How long subscribers typically stay active

Stay informed about subscriber activity:

  • New Subscriber Alert — Notification when someone subscribes to your strategy
  • Milestone Alerts — Notifications at 10, 50, 100, 500 subscribers
  • Performance Alerts — Notification if subscriber performance drops significantly
  • Unsubscribe Alerts — Notification when subscribers deactivate (helps identify issues)

Subscriber Privacy

Subscriber information is kept private:

  • Anonymous Data — You see aggregate metrics, not individual subscriber identities
  • No Personal Info — Wallet addresses are truncated, no names or contact info shared
  • Performance Only — You can see subscriber performance metrics but not their account balances
  • Privacy Protection — Subscribers trade independently - you cannot control or access their accounts

Strategy Performance

Your strategy's performance metrics are publicly displayed and directly impact subscriber growth.

Key Metrics Displayed

  • Win Rate — Percentage of profitable trades. Higher is better, but context matters.
  • Total Trades — Number of trades executed. More trades = more statistical significance.
  • Total P&L — Aggregate profit/loss across all trades. Positive P&L attracts subscribers.
  • Average Profit Per Trade — Average profit on winning trades. Shows profit potential.
  • Average Loss Per Trade — Average loss on losing trades. Shows risk exposure.
  • Profit Factor — Total wins / Total losses. Above 1.5 is considered good.
  • Maximum Drawdown — Largest peak-to-trough decline. Lower is better.
  • Sharpe Ratio — Risk-adjusted return. Higher is better (above 1.0 is good).

Performance Tracking

Performance is tracked separately for different contexts:

  • Your Performance — How the strategy performs when you trade with it
  • Subscriber Performance — Aggregate performance across all subscribers
  • Time Periods — Performance over 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, all-time
  • Market Conditions — Performance during different volatility regimes

Performance Badges

Strategies can earn badges based on performance:

  • Verified Winner — Win rate > 60% over 100+ trades
  • High Volume — 500+ trades executed
  • Top Performer — Top 10% by profit factor
  • Consistent — Positive P&L for 30+ consecutive days
  • Popular — 50+ active subscribers
  • Trusted — Low subscriber churn rate (< 20%)
Transparency Builds Trust: All performance metrics are calculated from real trades and cannot be manipulated. This transparency helps subscribers make informed decisions.

Best Practices for Creators

Follow these best practices to attract subscribers and maximize your rewards:

Strategy Design

  • Test Thoroughly — Run your strategy for at least 50-100 trades before publishing to prove it works
  • Use Risk Management — Include daily loss limits and trade caps to protect subscribers
  • Clear Entry/Exit — Use reasonable entry prices (20-40¢) and exit prices (80-99¢) for good risk/reward
  • Avoid Over-Optimization — Don't over-fit to historical data. Simple strategies often perform better.
  • Document Your Logic — Write clear descriptions explaining why your strategy should work

Performance Maintenance

  • Monitor Regularly — Check your strategy performance daily, especially after publishing
  • Pause if Underperforming — If win rate drops below 40% or drawdown exceeds 30%, pause and review
  • Update When Needed — Market conditions change. Update indicators or conditions if performance deteriorates
  • Communicate Changes — If you make significant changes, consider unpublishing temporarily and re-testing

Subscriber Growth

  • Start with Proof — Don't publish until you have 50+ trades with positive results
  • Competitive Pricing — Set reasonable minimum budgets. Lower barriers = more subscribers
  • Build Reputation — Consistent performance over time attracts more subscribers than short-term wins
  • Diversify Offerings — Create multiple strategies for different assets or timeframes
  • Engage Community — Share insights on X/Twitter about your strategies (without revealing exact parameters)

What to Avoid

  • Don't Publish Untested — Publishing unproven strategies damages your reputation
  • Don't Over-Promise — Be realistic in descriptions. Don't claim guaranteed profits.
  • Don't Abandon Strategies — If you publish, commit to monitoring and maintaining it
  • Don't Copy Others — Create original strategies. Clones rarely perform as well.
  • Don't Ignore Feedback — If subscribers leave, investigate why and improve
Reputation Matters: Your track record as a creator follows you. One bad strategy can hurt your credibility. Focus on quality over quantity.

Subscribing to Strategies

As a subscriber, you can discover and trade with strategies created by others.

Finding Strategies

Browse the Marketplace to discover strategies:

  • Filter by Asset — Show only BTC, ETH, SOL, or XRP strategies
  • Filter by Timeframe — Show only 15-minute or 1-hour strategies
  • Filter by Performance — Minimum win rate, minimum trades, positive P&L only
  • Sort Options — Sort by win rate, total P&L, subscriber count, or newest
  • Search — Search by strategy name or description keywords

Evaluating Strategies

Before subscribing, review these key factors:

  • Win Rate — Look for 50%+ win rate. Higher is better but consider sample size.
  • Total Trades — More trades = more reliable statistics. Prefer 100+ trades.
  • Profit Factor — Should be above 1.5. Higher means bigger wins relative to losses.
  • Drawdown — Maximum drawdown should be under 30%. Lower is safer.
  • Recent Performance — Check 7-day and 30-day performance. Is it consistent?
  • Subscriber Count — More subscribers = social proof, but verify performance yourself
  • Entry/Exit Prices — Understand the risk/reward. Lower entry = less risk.

Marketplace Guidelines

To maintain a healthy Marketplace, all creators must follow these guidelines:

  • No Pump & Dump — Do not publish strategies designed to fail after attracting subscribers.
  • No Spam — Do not create multiple identical or near-identical strategies.

Quality Standards
