What is Playground?

Playground is Polyblock's advanced strategy builder that empowers you to create custom automated trading strategies without writing code. Using natural language, you can build sophisticated strategies that combine technical indicators, custom entry/exit conditions, advanced order timing, and risk management rules.

Unlike Auto Trader which uses a pre-built AI strategy, Playground gives you complete control. You define exactly when to enter trades, how to manage positions, and when to exit. The AI assistant guides you through the process, asking clarifying questions and validating your strategy as you build it.

How It Works

Creating a Playground strategy is a conversational process:

• •1. Start a Conversation — Tell the AI what kind of strategy you want to build. For example: "I want to buy BTC when RSI is oversold"
• •2. Answer Questions — The AI asks clarifying questions about indicators, entry conditions, prices, and risk management
• •3. Review & Refine — The AI shows you the strategy configuration. You can modify any parameter by asking
• •4. Save & Activate — Once complete, save your strategy and optionally activate it to start trading immediately

The AI validates your strategy in real-time, ensuring all required fields are set and conditions are logically sound. You can edit existing strategies or clone them to create variations for A/B testing.

Strategy Capabilities

Playground strategies support a wide range of trading approaches:

• •Technical Analysis — Use 150+ indicators including RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Stochastic, Volume indicators, and more
• •Multiple Conditions — Combine indicators with AND/OR logic. Set different conditions for UP vs DOWN trades
• •Entry Strategies — Simple limit orders, entry ladders (split across 2 prices), or market orders
• •Exit Strategies — Single exit price, partial exits (take profits at multiple levels), or trailing stops
• •Order Timing — Place orders immediately, delay X minutes after market open, or place before close
• •Auto-Cancel — Cancel unfilled orders after X minutes to avoid stale orders
• •Dynamic Direction — Buy whichever side (UP/DOWN) is favored at placement time (for "scoop the winner" strategies)

Getting Started

To start building strategies in Playground:

• •Navigate to Playground — Click "Playground" in the main navigation
• •Click "Create Strategy" — Opens the AI strategy builder chat interface
• •Describe Your Strategy — Tell the AI what you want to build in plain English
• •Follow the Conversation — Answer questions and review the strategy as it's built
• •Save & Activate — Once complete, save your strategy and set your budget per trade
